What is the Railway RRB NTPC Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern 2020?

The selection process for the Railway RRB NTPC exam consists of 3 stages, which are:

Railway RRB NTPC Stage 1 Exam

Railway RRB NTPC Stage 2 Exam

Railway RRB NTPC Stage 3 Exam (Typing Skill Test)

A. Railway RRB NTPC Stage 1

It is a computer based online test of 100 marks in 90 minutes. There is a negative marking of 1/3 Marks for each wrong answer.

B. Railway RRB NTPC Stage 2

It is a computer based online test of 120 marks in 90 minutes. There is a negative marking of 1/3 Marks for each wrong answer.

C. Typing Skill Test (TST):

- For the posts of Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Typing Skill Test (TST) will be of qualifying nature (marks obtained in typing skill test shall not be added for making merit).

- The Typing Test shall be conducted for which the number of candidates shall be equal to eight times the number of vacancies for each of the community.

- The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
